Day 1: Casablanca –Rabat –Meknes –Fes
We meet you at your hotel accommodation then we depart from Casablanca for Fes. The road to Fes takes us along a beautiful stretch of farmlands where olives, grain, vegetables and grapes are grown.Before arriving to Fes, we will visit Meknes and Volubilis. Volubilis is the sight of the famous Roman ruins left from the Roman Empire's most southern outpost. Meknes is the site of the first Arab dynasty created by Moulay Ismail and has the The Madrasa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, the Gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace. This leads us into the Henri es-Souani, the horses stable and granaries. Upstairs is a rooftop garden and cafe with a great view of the city. Arrive into Fes where we will spent the night.
Day 2: Exploring Fes
After breakfast, we will begin our visit of “the oldest living Medina in the world” with a local official tour guide. We will tour the Medina with its souks (markets), stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th century Karouine Mosque and University.We will visit also the tomb of the city founder "Moulay Idriss II". Lunch will be held at one of the traditional restaurants in the old Medina. After lunch we will continue our tour to visit the Nejjarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
Day 3: Fes –Ifrane –Azrou – Midelt –Ziz Valley – Erg Chebbi Dunes
After breakfast we depart to the south of Morocco. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the switezland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have a memoriable photos. After that you will head toward Azrou to see the monkies in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Talgghamt to reach Errachidia while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Later on, you will have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Aoufous and Erfoud (the last is famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, these dunes are called also Merzouga Dunes. Arrive to the hotel where you will spend the night. Dinner and breakfast in the hotel.
Day 4: Tour around Erg Chebbi by 4×4 – camel ride and night in desert camp
This morning after breakfast in the hotel. You will have a tour of the dunes on 4×4 allowing you to visit a nomad family living in tent, visit to khamlia village and entertainment of their spiritual music of Gnawa, and visit the lake Dayte Sarji that forms in springtime which attract pink flamingos and wildlife. Then you will have a break for lunch in Merzouga. After lunch you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located on the foot of the dunes. Continue to your hotel for relax. Arrive to the hotel and get ready for a camel trek for 1,30 to enjoy the sunset. While on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in traditional nomad tent. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.
Day 5: Merzouga –Rissani –Alnif –Tazarine –N'koub –Draa Valley –Agdez –Ouarzazate
Early morning departure to be at the sunrise on the dunes, return by dromedaries to the hotel, after breakfast, start to the huge palm grove of Tafilalet through Rissani. Way towards Alnif (lunch on the spot), Tazarine Oasis, N'kob and the Draa Valley. Next, way to Ouarzazate via the small Berber village named Agdez and the mountains of the Anti-Atlas (1660m high). Dinner and night in the Hotel.
Day 6: Ouarzazate - Kasbah Ait Benhaddou –High Atlas Mountians –Marrakech
Leaving Ouarzazate in the morning we will have chance to visit Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou for lunch and tour in this world heritage site. This famous 11th century kasbah was used as a backdrop for more than 20 films including famous Gladiator. After lunch we will start our journey back to Marrakech through Tizi-n- Tichka and reach Marrakech in late in the afternoon.
Day 7: Marrakech Sightseeing
A full-day tour of Marrakech. We will visit the Menara, a surrounded pool by flowerbeds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounded fields. The sightseeing tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewellery. Optional lunch will be in the Medina followed by a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. We will enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Djemaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe, dinner and night at hotel.
Day 8: Marrakech –Casablanca
We will be leaving in the morning and head back to Casablanca where the tour ends.
